Adding your first item

Okay you’re ready to add your first item.


This can be done in several simple steps.




First, navigate to the blue “add button” underneath the item entry tab.


Second, input the name of the item, the quantity of which you are selling, and the price.


Keep in mind that we as the store create a lot of pre-determined types of products. If you want to keep your product basic with minimal fields, that’s fine. However, if you sell clothing some products like” t-shirts” may have more fields to enter information into such as size, color, and  brand. The more you define your products, the more detailed your reporting at the end of the month will be. 



You can select which category item you want under the “category dropdown menu” under the product entry area. Scroll down to select the category that best describes your product. 


Once, your done entering a product you can

  • save and close the window 

  • save and add another product

  • save and copy the existing product as a template for another duplicate product

  • or cancel to cancel out adding the item to your current inventory. 


You also have the ability to check whether or not you want the product discounted (or not) with the “do not discount” check field. 


**IMPORTANT**

Once finished, you MUST push submit at the top of the screen, otherwise the product doesn’t show up on our end for sale!
