Why is my invoiced amount around higher than my rent?

This usually happens because of an unpaid balance from the previous month.

For example, if rent is $200 a month and your June sales were $100, there will be an ending balance of $100 on July 1 as June’s sales did not cover July’s rent.  If the credit card on file declines, and an invoice payment is not made, this $100 balance will carry over into the next month.  If sales in July are $75 and rent of $200 is taken out at the end of the month for August, the balance due on August 1 will be $225.

July 1 Balance:         - ($100)

July Sales:                     $75

Aug 1 Rent:                 -  ($200)

Aug Invoice                  - ($225)
