How Our Waitlist Works

While we would love to bring in every vendor that walks through the door, what happens when our booths get full?


If you’re interested in a booth, you can call the store or fill out a waiting application form online. You can still go through our introduction process and get familiar (if you’re not already) with our store policies and guidelines for our vendors. We open our vendor waitlist on a first come first serve basis. We will reach out within 2-4 days after your waitlist application has been submitted to let you know if you’re on the waitlist.

Normally, we give an incoming vendor at least 30 days heads up as to when a booth will become vacant, as we ask current vendors to give us a 30 day notice if vacating. 


When the space becomes ready, one of our management personnel will reach out. Our selection of the right applicant comes down to who we think will best occupy the vacated area of our store and whose products will best balance out our total product offering and diversity for the mall.

After the applicant is selected, The Brass Lantern will collect the first month's rent as a security deposit to secure the space followed by our vendor onboarding process.


Please note, that although we are sensitive to the amount of time an applicant is on our waitlist, that time is not a direct element on who is contacted first. To uphold our Standard of Excellence, our waitlist applicate is weighted heavily from the following 

  • pictures and media of a retail booth in good standing 
  • products and displays well thought out and designed
  • the quality of the products offered
  • the type of merchandise sold
  • the experience of the applicate
  • other strategies and methods the applicate plan to employ to make his or her business a good reflection on The Brass Lantern
